Sensory room opened at Bristol Airport to help passengers with autism – this is a great example of transforming spaces to meet the needs of those who really use them. Working with what’s there takes a fair bit of creativity and vision, coupled with understanding building limitations and potential.

With 1 in 7 of the population thought to be neuro diverse, projects such as this could and maybe more importantly should become more common place? I’d be interested to hear about the experiences of those who have since used this facility.
