This new updated guidance will hopefully raise the bar for ensuring buildings are safe and optimised for energy performance and occupancy comfort. The drive towards net zero carbon in the UK has hugely informed the changes outlined for energy efficiency and owners, maintainers and building operators should be able to access further support and guidance with their new responsibilities.
