We welcome this clear baseline on what these types of Surveys should encompass, and agree that RICS guidance is helpful as more people want to understand the current condition and liabilities of their own building responsibilities. Providing such surveys is a service we regularly provide for clients (existing and new), and we understand the levels of concern and are happy to hand hold.
Landlords will find a clear PPM survey useful to help inform potential future investments, and their strategy for building portfolio expansion (or indeed contraction given post Covid working patterns changing).
